These reusable stainless-steel Vertuo capsules let you use your own coffee with consistent results.

Choose the size that matches your usual Vertuo pod: 80 ml (espresso) or 230 ml (mug).

The machine reads the size and brews accordingly when used with the compatible Vertuo models listed below.

For best results, start with a fine to medium-fine grind (espresso); Vertuo prefers a slightly lighter tamp than other machines.

When filling do not over-heap, give it a light tamp, and keep the capsule rim perfectly clean.

Cleaning & how to use

After brewing, eject the capsule while it’s still warm, tap out the grounds (they’re home-compostable), then rinse under warm water. Use the included soft cleaning brush to sweep the inside and the filter/holes, and wipe the rim so it’s perfectly clean for the next brew.

Dishwasher-safe (top rack): place the capsule (and lid, if separate) in the cutlery basket. Avoid abrasive pads/steel wool, bleach, or harsh cleaners—they can damage the stainless finish and seals.

For a deeper clean (monthly or if you notice oily build-up):

• Soak for 10–15 minutes in warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid or 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda.
• In hard-water areas, an occasional vinegar rinse (1:4 vinegar:water, 10 minutes) helps lift limescale—rinse thoroughly afterwards.
• If your model has removable silicone seals, pop them out, wash gently by hand, and dry fully before refitting.

Always dry the capsule completely before reassembling or storing. Avoid banging the capsule on hard surfaces—use a knock box or spoon tap to protect the rim and keep the fit perfect.

Compatibility

This capsule is designed for Nespresso Vertuo / VertuoLine machines in the original Vertuo and Evoluo families, including:

  • Nespresso Vertuoline GCA1
  • Nespresso Vertuoline Plus
  • Delonghi ENV135
  • Delonghi ENV150

If you own Vertuo Plus or Vertuo Pop/Pop+, please select our Plus/Pop-specific capsule.

This capsule is not compatible with:

  • Vertuo Next, Vertuo Pop/Pop+, Vertuo Creatista, Vertuo Lattissima (use the model-specific version instead).
  • Nespresso OriginalLine machines and any other capsule systems.

Will I need a tamper?

If this is your first order, we recommend you choose one of our options with the tamper included, it will help you get better results.
